TELUS Cup West Regional ticket packages now on sale
THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Kings, in conjunction with Hockey Northwestern Ontario, Thunder Bay Minor Hockey Association and Giant Events, announced Friday that ticket packages for the upcoming 2018 TELUS Cup Western Regional Championship are now on sale.
The four-day event will be held April 5-8 at Fort William First Nation Arena and will feature the Thunder Bay major midget Kings taking on the Kenora Thistles as well as the champions of both the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League and the Saskatchewan AAA Midget Hockey League. The winner will then move on to represent the region at the TELUS Cup Canadian National Midget Hockey Championship, April 23-29, in Sudbury, Ont.
There will be two round robin games during each of the first three days of the TELUS Cup Western Regional in Thunder Bay with the top two sides advancing to the championship game on Sunday, April 8, 2018.
A weekend pass for all seven games of the TELUS Cup Western Regional is $60; a two-game day-pass goes for $17.50 while single game tickets will be $15.

The launch of the TELUS Cup Western Regional advance ticket sales is also being partnered with the Thunder Bay Northern Hawks of the Lakehead Junior Hockey League, who will be hosting the 2018 Keystone Cup Western Canadian Jr. B Championship, April 19-22, at the Thunder Bay Tournament Centre.
Fans can purchase a double-event package for just $99 to attend all games for both the TELUS Cup Western Regional and the Keystone Cup.
Of note, the Kings, HNO and TBMHA will also host the 2019 TELUS Cup nationals at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, in April of that year.
