Minor midget Kings off to Whitby for Silver Stick

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Thunder Bay minor midget Kings are off to Whitby, Ont., to compete in the Gloria Rints Memorial Silver Stick International tournament Thursday through Sunday.

Thunder Bay has four round robin games on their slate beginning Thursday at 3:30 p.m. as they take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

A pair of tilts will be on tap Friday starting at 8 a.m. as the take on the Quinte Red Devils before wrapping up the day against the Mississauga Reps at 7:15 p.m.

The Kings will then tangle with the Chicago Mission Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m.

There are a total of 30 minor midget teams from across Canada and the U.S. competing in the minor midget division in the event.
