U14 Kings to host Duluth East this weekend

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay under-14 Kings will welcome the Duluth East Greyhounds to town for a three-game set this weekend.

Game 1 goes Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in a match-up held at Fort William First Nation Arena.

They’ll then shift over to the Fort William Gardens later in the day for Game 2 at 7 p.m.

Closing it out Sunday, Game 3 will be held at 9 a.m. back at FWFNA.

The U14s will also take on the Thunder Bay Queens U18 AA side Thursday in a contest that gets underway at 4:30 p.m., which will be held at FWFNA.

Meanwhile the U18 Kings will take on the Northern Hawks of the Lakehead Junior Hockey League Friday evening at the Gardens, that begins at 7 p.m.  They then take on the Bandits on Saturday night at 8 p.m. at Tournament Centre.

Others Kings’ teams on the ice this week, include the U16s tonight (Wednesday) as they meet the Current River Comets U18 AA’s in a 9 p.m. puck drop at Delaney Arena.

Also, the U13 Kings meet the Queens U15 AA squad Sunday morning at 11 a.m., following the finale of the Thunder Bay – Duluth East affair.
