THUNDER BAY – Regular season play in the Greater Toronto Hockey League will wrap-up this weekend for a trio of Thunder Bay Kings teams.
Each of the Kings’ under-18, U-16 and U-15 clubs will have four contests apiece on the docket as they conclude their 28-game slate, in this, their inaugural campaign in the GTHL, with match-ups Friday through Sunday.
Thunder Bay’s U-18 contingent will also continue action in the league later in the month as they have already secured a berth in the upcoming playoffs, which get underway later this month.
They presently sit in third spot in their 13-team division, sporting a record of 12-5-7.
The Top 8 teams in each AAA group within the GTHL will qualify for the postseason. However, the U-16 and U-15 Kings will not advance.
