ORONTO – The Thunder Bay bantam Kings are in the provincial capital as they gear up for the 2019 All-Ontario AAA Bantam Hockey Championship, which runs Monday through Friday, at Herb Carnegie Centennial Centre in Toronto.
Thunder Bay opens up competition Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. as they take on the Soo Jr. Greyhounds (NOHA).
A pair of tilts await the Kings Tuesday when they go up against the Eastern Ontario Wild (HEO) at 10 a.m. before tangling with the Quinte Red Devils (OMHA) at 6 p.m.
The club’s competition Wednesday will be vs. the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs (Alliance) at noon and the highly-touted Toronto Marlboros (GTHL), which features a 6 p.m. start.
They’ll then conclude round robin play Thursday at noon vs. the host Toronto Titans (GTHL).
Friday features the top four teams competing in the semifinals with on-ice action commencing early in the day before the event wraps up that evening with the pair of medal games.
All contests in the seven-team provincials are scheduled to be streamed live online, and on demand, via HockeyTV.com.
