THUNDER BAY – Another round of Greater Toronto Hockey League action awaits the Thunder Bay Kings under-15 and U18 teams this weekend.
A stiff test is on hand for the U18 Kings in their opener Friday, in the provincial capital, when they’ll take on the first place Toronto Titans (7-2-1) at 8:30 p.m.
An equally strong challenge will be in store for the Thunder Bay U15s in their initial contest the same night, as they’ll tangle with the unbeaten Toronto Jr. Canadiens (6-0-2) in a 9:15 p.m. start.
Each squad will then have a pair of match-ups on their docket Saturday.
Awaiting the U15s will be the Toronto Young Nationals (1-7-0) at 10:40 a.m., followed by a 3:25 p.m. matinee versus the Vaughan Kings (6-1-1).
On the U18 Kings slate will be the Mississauga Rebels (4-5-2) at 11 a.m., before capping off the day against the Don Mills Flyers (5-4-1), that features a 5:40 p.m. puck drop.
Finishing up Sunday, the U18s meet the Jr. Canadiens (2-3-4) in an 11:45 a.m. match-up and the U15s face-off with the Toronto Marlboros (6-3-0) in a 12:25 p.m. encounter.
