Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) play over the weekend for the Thunder Bay under-15 and U18 Kings saw a tough go for both clubs as each team dropped all four games they played.
The U15s began with a 5-3 setback at the hands of the Toronto Young Nationals.
Finding the back of the net for Thunder Bay was Cooper Disher, Darwin Brinkman and Ethan Williamson.
They were then edged 3-2 by the Don Mills Flyers with Gavin Godick scoring once and setting up Disher for the other.
A tough result then saw them bounced 7-1 by the Reps Hockey Club in a game that had Jack Koski supply the lone Thunder Bay tally.
Finishing up, the U15 Kings were clipped by the Markham Majors 4-1.
A power play goal by Cullen McCormack, with assists to Disher and Godick, accounted for their marker.
As four the U18s, they fell in their four contests, dropping outcomes to the Mississauga Senators (3-2); Reps Hockey Club (4-1); Toronto Red Wings (5-2) and the Mississauga Senators (4-1).
Meanwhile, the under-16 Kings took home top spot in the Superior Showdown event in Marathon.
Competing against the Fort William Canadiens U18 AA, Soo Jr. Greyhounds and the Northern Selects U18 AAs, Thunder Bay blanked the Canadiens 4-0 in the final.
Kellan Ozerkevich paced the Kings offensively with a goal and two assists.
Also scoring were Finley Hebert, Samuel Pierce and Andrew Bouchard, while Ethan Cava dished out a pair of helpers.
Posting the shutout in the triumph was Eleazar Andrusco.
