Kings to conclude NAPHL regular season this weekend

LAINE, Minn. – The Thunder Bay Kings are in Blaine, Minn., this weekend to conclude regular season play in the North American Prospects Hockey League.

Both the Happy Time Tours major midgets Kings and the Sportop minors will take to the ice with four games apiece at the Blaine Super Rinks.

The majors begin under-18 play Saturday at 6 p.m. as they tangle with the Arizona Bobcats.

Sunday’s slate sees the Ontario Jr. Reign from California and the Florida Alliance providing the opposition at 12:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. respectively.

They’ll then finish up Monday morning vs. the Shattuck-St. Mary’s Sabres in an 11 a.m. start.

As for the Thunder Bay’s minor midgets, they will play twice Saturday beginning with 9:15 a.m. encounter with the Colorado Springs Tigers before wrapping up the day against Meier AAA of Michigan at 7 p.m.

Up next will be CarShield AAA from St. Louis in a 6 p.m. match-up Sunday before they meet the Sioux Falls Power Monday in a 9:15 a.m. start.
