Bantam Kings in Michigan for Silver Stick

ACOMB, Mich. – The Thunder Bay Maritime Petroleum Advisory Services (MPAS) bantam Kings are in Macomb, Mich., where they are ready to compete in the annual International Silver Stick tournament.

Game action for Thunder Bay begins tonight at 7 p.m. as they take on Detroit Belle Tire.

Friday’s slate sees two contests on the docket beginning with an 11 a.m. encounter with the Waterloo Wolves before finishing up against the Pittsburgh Predators at 6:30 p.m.

Their final round robin match-up will be vs. Detroit Compuware Saturday and will get underway at 9:30 a.m.

There are 32 AAA bantam clubs competing in the four-day event, which will see the first-place side from each of the eight four-team divisions advance to quarter-final play Saturday night.

The remaining four squads will skate in semifinal action Sunday morning while the championship game goes at 4 p.m. that same day.
