Shelley Graham Brings Fundraising Expertise to Kings Board

Shelley Graham has been elected to the Kings Board of Directors.  Shelley will help the organization focus and expand their fundraising reach for the upcoming seasons.

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Shelley has been involved in our community in a variety of ways.    Never a hockey player, but always a fan, she grew up at the rinks and now spends the majority of her “free time” there watching her 9 year old son play.

Gymnastics was her sport of choice as an athlete and went on to coach professionally, leading a local club (TBGA) producing Provincial medalists.  She then pursued her coaching dreams in Edmonton, AB where she coached athletes on to become Provincial and National champions, with many going on to become NCAA athletes.

After her eldest son was born, she decided to move closer to family and to raise her family in Thunder Bay, a community she has always been proud of.

Her background in sport, event and program management led her to a career in fundraising, resulting in her current position as Manager, Major Gifts and Campaigns with the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation.

Shelley brings with her passion for high performance sport development, our community and developing partnerships to bridge both.
