Thunder Bay heading back for GTHL play

ANOTHER round of Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) play awaits the Thunder Bay under-15 and U18 Kings, on the club’s respective dockets, at various venues across the GTA.

Starting Thursday evening in a make-up contest for a previously postponed affair, due to travel issues, the U18s will go up against the Vaughan Kings (15-4-3) at 8:30 p.m.

They’ll then take on another strong opponent Friday, in the Toronto Young Nationals (16-7-2), with another 8:30 p.m. puck drop.

That same night has the U15 Kings tangling with the Markham Majors (17-3-2) in a 7 p.m. start.

Saturday’s slate features two games apiece for Thunder Bay.

Beginning at 10:25 a.m., the U18 squad meet the first place Toronto Marlboros (18-5-3) prior to wrapping up the day versus the North York Rangers (6-18-2) at 6 p.m.

As the under-15 Kings, awaiting them will be the front-running Mississauga Senators (21-3-2) at 9 a.m., as well as a 5:10 p.m., encounter with the Toronto Titans (5-20-1).

Finishing up Sunday, the U18s face-off against the Toronto Jr. Canadiens (10-10-5) at 11 a.m., while the U15s play the Don Mills Flyers (19-7-1) at 12:45 p.m.
