Bantam Kings off to St. Cloud for 4-game set

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay bantam Kings will travel to St. Cloud, Minn., this weekend for a four-game set at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

Thunder Bay will open up Friday at 6 p.m. vs. the host St. Cloud Huskies.

They then take on the Minnesota Made, an elite level program squad based out of Edina, Minn., Saturday at 10 a.m.

St. Cloud will once again provide the opposition Saturday at 4 p.m. before they face-off with the Made for a second time Sunday morning at 10 a.m. to conclude the trip.

These games will help serve as a tune-up for the club as they prepare for the Hockey Northwestern Ontario AAA bantam district championship March 11-13 at Fort William First Nation Arena.

The HNO district champion will then advance to represent the region at the all-Ontario bantam championship March 28 through April 2 in Rockland, Ont.
