The Kings organization as a whole congratulates Carter George on an amazing World Under 18 Hockey Championship for Team Canada!

The 2006-born goalie was the starting goalie for the Gold Medal-winning Canadian team.

With an unbeaten 6-0 record, 2.33 Goals Against Average and .915 Save Percentage, George was named the tournament’s Best Goalie.

George shone brightest in Canada’s Gold Medal comeback win against the United States, where he was named Game MVP.

It is expected that George will be the first goalie chosen in this year’s NHL Draft.

George played for the Kings up until being drafted by the Owen Sound Attack in the 2022 OHL Draft.
