Kings to continue GTHL play

THUNDER BAY – There will be further Greater Toronto Hockey League competition this coming weekend for a trio of Thunder Bay Kings teams.

Each of Thunder Bay’s under-13; U15 and U16 squads will take to the ice with four games apiece on their schedule.

Friday will see the clubs playing once each, followed by a pair on contests Saturday before wrapping up Sunday with three single match-ups.

WEEKEND WRAP: The under-18 Kings skated in four affairs this past weekend, including competing in a trio of narrow results.

They dropped a 4-3 decision to the second-place Toronto Marlboros to begin play, then were blanked 4-0 by the Vaughan Kings.

Next came a hard-fought 2-1 setback at the hands of the North York Rangers before finishing up with a 2-2 tie with the Toronto Young Nationals.
