Thunder Bay Kings and Thunder Bay Queens Launch Crown Cash 50/50

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Kings and Thunder Bay Queens are proud to launch the Crown Cash 50/50, a new online fundraising initiative that brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to developing young hockey players across Northwestern Ontario.

RAFFLE WILL LAUNCH AT 9 A.M. ON THURSDAY, JUNE 18, 2026 

While each organization has its own proud history and programming, this partnership reflects a common belief that working together strengthens the local hockey community. Through collaborative initiatives such as Crown Cash, the Kings and Queens can create additional development opportunities, enhance programming, and invest in resources that help athletes succeed both on and off the ice.Proceeds from the Crown Cash 50/50 will directly support player development opportunities, training programs, equipment purchases, and other enhancements that benefit local athletes.“We are excited to launch Crown Cash and bring our hockey communities together,” said representatives of the Thunder Bay Kings and Thunder Bay Queens. “This partnership allows us to invest in the future of our athletes while giving supporters an exciting way to contribute.”

Fans, families, alumni, and community members are encouraged to participate and help grow the jackpot. One lucky winner will take home 50% of the final jackpot, while the remaining net proceeds will be reinvested into local hockey programming that supports player development.
