Major midget Kings to face Shattuck-St. Mary’s

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay major midget Kings will be in Faribault, Minn., this weekend for a three-game set against the Shattuck-St. Mary’s Sabres under-18 side.

Game action will commence Saturday at the Shattuck Ice Arena with a 12:30 p.m. face-off in the opener.

The two sides then square off once more later in the day at 9:30 p.m.

Sunday will feature the series finale as the Kings and Sabres wraps things up at noon.

The games with Shattuck-St. Mary’s will be a tune-up for the major midgets as they prepare for the Hockey Northwestern Ontario AAA midget district championship March 4-6 in Kenora vs. the Thistles.
