Peewee Kings off to Brandon for Tournament of Champions

THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The Thunder Bay peewee Kings are heading west this weekend to take part in the Tournament of Champions event in Brandon, Man.

Game action for Thunder Bay gets underway Friday at 4:15 p.m. as they meet the Martensville Marauders of Saskatchewan.

Next up will be an 8:15 p.m. match-up vs. the Lord Selkirk/7 Oaks Rebels at 8:15 p.m.

They will then take to the ice twice Saturday to wrap-up round robin play.

The Kings square off against the Melfort Mustangs at 10:30 a.m. before finishing up vs. the Regina Blues at 3:30 p.m.

Semifinal action goes Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and will feature the top two sides in each of the two five-team divisions.

The winners there will play for the championship at 3:45 p.m.
