THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay under-13 and U15 Kings are heading out to compete in their respective All-Ontario AAA championship events, which underway Wednesday.
Thunder Bay’s U13s will be in Toronto, while the U15s head to Stittsville, Ont.
Both clubs play twice Wednesday with the under-13 Kings meeting the Vaughan Kings at 10 a.m., followed by a 4 p.m. encounter versus Ottawa Myers Automotive.
As for the U15s, they’ll tangle with the host Ottawa Valley Titans in a 10 a.m. start, prior to wrapping up the day at 4 p.m. against the Sun County Panthers.
Thursday’s action has Thunder Bay meeting the Toronto Jr. Canadiens in U13 play and the U15s facing off with Ottawa Myers in a pair of 2 p.m. starts.
Friday’s slate features the U15 Kings taking on the Quinte Red Devils at noon and the U13s tangling with the Sudbury Wolves at 2 p.m.
Finishing up round robin play Saturday, the U13s meet Quinte at 8 a.m., prior to finishing up with the Elgin-Middlesex Canucks at 4 p.m.
As for the U15 Kings, they’ll go up against the Don Mills Flyers in a 10 a.m. start, prior to concluding with the Nickel City Sons at 6 p.m.
The Top 4 teams in each of the respective age brackets will advance to the medal round Sunday.
