THUNDER BAY – Both the Thunder Bay under-13 and U15 Kings now know who their opponents will be in next week’s All-Ontario AAA championships that run April 9-13.
The U13 event will take place at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury while the Markham Majors are hosting the five-day U15 provincials at the Thornhill Community Centre.
Game action for each team begins April 9 with the U13 Kings meeting the Chatham-Kent Cyclones at 11:45 a.m. in their opener and the U15s take on the Sudbury Wolves in theirs, which goes at 4 p.m.
A total of six round robin games apiece are on the slate for the Thunder Bay clubs that concludes April 12.
From there, the top four teams in both the U13 and U15 brackets will advance to the medal round contests that will be held on Sunday, April 13.
