Kings’ season concludes at peewee provincials

TORONTO, Ont. – The Thunder Bay peewee Kings season came to a close Thursday at the all-Ontario championship in Toronto after the fell 4-1 to the Eastern Ontario Wild.

Eastern Ontario went up 2-0 after one period of play on markers by Nicolas White and Jonathan Melee.

The Wild then added another in the middle stanza on a Loic Prudhomme effort.

Connor Chisholm put Thunder Bay on the board two and a half minutes into the final frame with Zach Biniaris picking up an assist on the play.

Eastern Ontario’s Melee added one more however in the late going to round out the scoring in the contest.

Player of the game honours went to the Wild’s White while Chisholm was recognized for the Kings.
