Peewee, bantam Kings in action this weekend

HUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Dairy Farmers peewee and Maritime Petroleum Advisory Services bantam Kings will both be in Duluth, Minn., this weekend for a series of games against opponents from the U.S.

Thunder Bay’s peewee side will take on both the Duluth East Greyhounds and Green Bay Jr. Gamblers twice beginning with a 1:45 p.m. encounter with the Greyhounds Saturday before wrapping up the day vs. the Gamblers at 7:45 p.m.

Sunday’s slate sees Green Bay providing the opposition at 9 a.m. while their weekend concludes at 1:30 p.m. with another meeting with Duluth.

As for the bantam Kings, they meet the Madison Capitols under-14 squad in a three-game neutral site affair.

Game 1 of the match-up goes Saturday at 4:45 p.m.

They’ll then play twice Sunday with start times set for 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., to conclude the mini-series.
