U-18 Kings fall to 1-1 at NAPHL event in Blaine, Minn.

BLAINE, Minn. – The Thunder Bay major midget Kings dropped a 4-1 decision to MHA of Michigan in a North American Prospects Hockey League under-18 division match-up Friday night in Blaine, Minn.

The Kings fell behind 2-0 after one period with Dylan Montie and Andrew Garby scoring for the Michigan side.

MHA upped their cushion to four after the middle session on tallies from Bryce Kallen and Brendan West.

Thunder Bay would get on the board with four minutes remaining in regulation as Zach Fortin finished off the work of teammates Christian Veneruzzo and Jacob Anttonen.

With the result the Kings are now 1-1 in NAPHL play heading into their next contest, which goes Saturday at 9 p.m. vs. Arizona Bobcats back in Blaine.
