Mike Simeoni is the Head Coach of the Thunder Bay Kings AAA U15 team. This is Mike’s 3rd consecutive season as a Coach with the Kings organization. Before joining the Kings organization, Mike was a AA coach with KC and Neebing minor hockey. Mike also had the honour of being selected as a coach for Hockey Canada’s National Under 17 selection camp in Calgary, AB during the summer of 2022.
As a player, Mike played in the Kings program and was a member of the 1995 Kings team which was the first from Thunder Bay to win the Air Canada Cup National U18 AAA Championship. A draft pick of the OHL’s Barrie Colts, Mike went on to play junior hockey for the Caledon Canadiens of the MJHL and the Thunder Bay Flyers in the USHL. While attending school, Mike finished his career playing for the Fort William Hurricanes helping the team capture the city’s first Keystone Cup as Western Junior B Champions in 1999.
